"Sooooo where to begin, my health status has changed quit a bit through the years. I was an athlete my entire life growing up, never watched what I ate but I was always very active. Then college came and I still occasionally went to the on campus gym but my eating habits were atrocious and I absolutely put on the freshman 15 (probably even more), then I moved into my sorority house which came with a lot of booze and a lot of horrible for you food and staying out all night and not caring about health, then junior year I decided I wanted to lose the weight and I got back on track and I got down from 160 to 148 which I was so incredibly happy with, it was the lowest I had weighed since high school. Well then months later a big personal event happened in my life and I went on a downward spiral with binge drinking every night, partying as much as I could and eating drunk food (like 4 tacos) every night at like 3am. The cycle continued and then I graduated and went on a graduation cruise, when I got back from the cruise and I looked at pictures I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. I was up to 167 pounds and just unhappy with life in general so in February of 2015 I decided to change. To stop drinking, to eat right and to get back into working out. From February to july when this challenge started I had gone from 167 to 137, my mind was blown, I have never weighed that little even when I was an athlete. I thought that was the end of my weight loss and I was kind of in a rut so I signed up for the challenge and boom I lost 5 pounds in four weeks. My abs are now starting to pop out as I'm really starting to put on muscle. This challenge helped me realize I can push my body and my mind and really transform myself into whatever I want. I'm now down to 132 pounds and feel happier and more alive than ever. Now I am really just focusing on getting my baby abs to show even more and putting on some good muscle. This entire journey has really brought out a fire in me and I now have a huge passion for the health and fitness industry, so much so that I am even thinking about competing. So thank you Brooke, thank you for showing me that my transformation will never end and my body can keep changing in ways I never thought imaginable. Thank you for helping me gain confidence and for giving me a way to keep pushing through this fitness journey. Your challenge was incredible and taught me not only a lot about fitness and the weight room but also a lot about myself and that I can overcome my mind and push beyond my mental limits."
